We can all look at the music industry and feel it has always been unbalanced. Not only in Ireland but throughout the world, women and female-identifying musicians have had to play second fiddle to men in terms of exposure, gigs, festivals and pay. A new Radio documentary about women in music will be broadcast on Newstalk 106-108fm this weekend and next.

Rebellion festival 2022 those days are over

And so like all things it comes to an end. Blackpool will go back to trying attract tourists to keep the remaining shops open and the punks all troop back to reality. For a long weekend we reconnected with everyone, we escaped our realities (oh and we queued as well so there was a bit of reality!!)
