Ascent ep
Formed in early 2016, The Grief features members from Cork-based metal bands Corr Mhóna, For Ruin and Soothsayer.
Their metal isn’t heavy but on Ascent, their debut ep, it has nods to heavy riifs and high pitched vocals. It isn’t Anathema but I’ve no doubt they have listened to those doomsters as well as more down to earth iron type metal.
