The rose tinted glasses are switched fully on for this. Stories of hardship, hunger, pain and a simple life. A life of bullying and fear but somehow looking back it’s ok. I was intrigued reading this story of a world with no technology. A world of feet and animals for transport instead of bikes and cars. Where food was grown and killed for eating and hot water shared as though it was currency.

It’s my fathers generation and I see a lot of it in here. I’m glad we have moved on but must admit there is still part of me that yearns for part of this world.
