Toodles and the Hectic party

Ghosts, guilt and grandparents

Specialist subject

A One sided 12” with 5 tracks here. Toodles and the hectic party discover the letter ‘G’ for their album title.

There’s some spooky references which accounts for the ghosts, maybe some relationship thoughts which covers the guilt aspect and mountain man references the grandparents so the 5 songs cover it all.

Sound stays lo-fi throughout but there’s tunes in there and the three men who make up Toodles and the hectic pity have described themselves as emo lo-fi folk punk.

Does that cover 4 different genres but basically it’s tuneful intelligent folky pop punk. Is that the same thing really? Have a listen and then tell me
