2 Dublin musicians with a strong pedigree rooted in the Dublin Underground scene of the late 1980’s have come together as the Sentimental Tourists. 4 lo-fi songs with a guitar landscape painted by Paul Page from the Whipping Boy. It has that Whipping Boy slowness wrapping you up but with less sound and no less intensity. Dave Long was the singer in Into Paradise and has done some collab work with Shane O’Neill in recent years. This continues in that fine pedigree. Songs about Dublin and the South Circular Road this feels like opening a door back to those times and letting them come into the 21st Century.
