From the second Conscription kicks off at track 1 to Jackboot ending as track 14 this is a blistering atack on your senses. It’s raw with a clean guitar sound with intensity being the order of the day.
Bootlicker have been kicking around the Vancouver punk scene for 4 years and this is their debut album, following on from 4 EP releases. It’s an explosion of sound rolling down a hill at top speed, over bumps and crevices. Yeah it’s not a new ball but they all roll in slightly different ways. This has that UK82 Discharge feel but really doesn’t come up for air for the whole record.
