On 18 November 2024 Dublin’s Hope Collective launched the Punks Listen fanzine.
It is a follow-up to the recent book of the same name.
So far, the book has raised over €15,000 for the Red Cross Ukraine Refugee Appeal.
The project was undertaken by two people from Dublin, Niall McGuirk and Michael Murphy, who were inspired by punk’s D.I.Y. passion. And its sense of wonder. The ‘zine, designed by Russ Bestley (author of The Art of Punk) is filled with the writing of some of their favourite musicians, writers, DJs, thinkers and friends.
