Description
Pre-order Punks Listen the fanzine. Out November 18
Punks Listen – The Fanzine is a follow-up to the highly successful book of the same name.
So far, the book has raised over €15,000 for the Red Cross Ukraine Refugee Appeal.
The project was undertaken by two people from Dublin, Niall McGuirk and Michael Murphy, who were inspired by punk’s D.I.Y. passion. And its sense of wonder.
The ‘zine, designed by Russ Bestley (author of The Art of Punk) is filled with the writing of some of their favourite musicians, writers, DJs, thinkers and friends.
The fanzine contains specially written pieces about memorable concerts or records by people including:
Will Sergeant (Echo and the Bunnymen)
Bill Drummond (The KLF)
Esme Young (designer, Swanky Modes; films including Trainspotting; judge – The Great British Sewing Bee)
