A recent message from Stiff Little Fingers confirms that even though live music is not currently happening along with their annual March gigs in UK and Ireland the band are having a virtual meet up on March 17. A recent message from the Norther n Irish veteran punks states
“Normally at this time of the year we’re packing our bags and getting ready for our annual March UK tour.
But this March the pandemic has once again put the kibosh on that tour, including for the many SLF fans who make the pilgrimage to Glasgow for our annual St. Patrick’s Day gig at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom. That gig and all our other March gigs have been postponed until March 2022, and you can see that tour scheduled with ticket links here.
HOWEVER one of our great fans has organized a virtual meet up (and drink up) that night via the wonders of technology. Register for this free SLF Family: Virtual St. Patrick’s Meet Up 2021 on Zoom. There will be a general room where SLF fans and band members can talk and a have a drink or two together, and if people want to have smaller get-togethers we’ll have some pubs (break out rooms) you can pop into which will be named after various watering holes around Glasgow.
Tickets for this virtual event are free, but we encourage you to wear an SLF tee and make a donation of any amount to the Integrated Education Fund. (Write”SLF Family” in the comments field on the donation form.)
PLUS we’ve just created this brand new tee that says, “I’D RATHER BE AT A STIFF LITTLE FINGERS CONCERT” available on our official SLF Online Store and we’d love to see you wearing one on Zoom!
Registrations for this event are limited, so sign up soon and we will see you up there!
