S:Bahn have just released their latest record which is a lovely collection of Post punk tunes all the way from Melbourne.
They start off by telling us how they miss Synchronised swimming – the sport of team work, where everyone moves in unison, this is not quite the sport i would picture for S:Bahn. Sure the band all are pulling in the same direction to get to the end of the songs, but the guitars bass and drums are battling along the way. It all works though with riffs, tunes and a nightingales feel to it all.
It’s not just Nightingales, but it’s most definitely a post punk collection of songs maybe they are Melbourne’s Sons Of Southern Ulster with vocals being ranted, spoken and sung sometimes all at the same time. This is a Gang of Four crashing instruments and creating a glorious noise
