This is my introduction to Punk rock from the Isle of Man. Funny as I’ve been talking about the Manx Island quite a bit lately. My mam went there as an 18 year old to do some work. She went into hiding as she hated the work so much and was saved by someone driving a fancy Bel-Air car, which was an unusual sight back then. I’m not sure if punks are an unusual sight on the island but Half Naked Headline write about homelessness, LGBTQ+ issues, feminist issue, politics and human rights which makes the 4 piece similar to so many others in the Western World anyway.
Musically it is nice driving intelligent punk rock fare. There’s three songs on offer and are a great introduction to the band.
