25 years after their debut album see 4ft Fingers restoring their friendship and kinship. The band are back playing again and have released a new song. Alongside this they have re-released their debut album. They came along on the cusp of the uk ska core wave as the 20thCentury faded to greet a new era known by many as the ‘noughties’.

Amongst the tunes, speed, sax and bangers they squeeze in a drinking song, paying homage to alcohol fuelled evenings. I wonder what the band would think, now in their mid 40s of songs stating that “growing old is my only fear” as they put these out into a world much changed since that turn of the century.
