This Weeks Dublin Gigs Mar 1 – 7

The calendar is filling up as plays, comedy nights and gigs return. Saturday night alone this week has you spoiled for choice. TenPastSeven and Shifting are launching their albums together in Bello Bar. It's their first chance to launch their respective records. Also that night is A Night of Songs and Stories which is a fund raiser for the campaign to keep Shelbourne FC in Tolka Park. Oski Bravo will also be playing a set along with some guest speakers. It promises to be a cracker in the Button Factory. If that wasn't enough you also have a chance to see the newly renamed Gilla Band blow the roof of Whelans

The Descendents were a band that spoke to people for their ordinary lifestyle. It wasn’t rock and roll, it wasn’t hedonistic. It was just good tunes played fast by good people.
