Maybe not all roads but certainly quite a few of them will lead to the Wild Duck this Sunday afternoon where Blackpitts launch their new album Nevada Jacks. For your tenner you will also get a copy of the album so it’s a bonus all round. Two nights before M Stevens & The Ghasts will debut their pop rock sound. Mike Stevens has been playing around the folk, pop, indie scene for a long time and The Ghasts are choc-a-bloc with Dublin indie/alternative illuminati. You may want your music harder on Friday so pop down to the Grand Social to hear the New York hardcore aggression of Cro-Mags. There’s a good punk rock line up on the night. Ironically enough fellow New Yorker and a guitarist steeped in New York Hardcore, Jesse Malin is in the Workmans Club the following night. Foggy Notions have a very interesting Saturday night lined up with the sweet hypnotic sound of Tirzah in the Button Factory
