Something for everyone this week
Friday night is the diy punk sound of Do One coming over from London to bring their fast powerful and thrashy noise to our ears. The following night sees the more tuneful side of punk rock coming through with Duncan Reid and the Big Heads, or the indie art rock sounds of Mik Artistic. If it’s stories you’re after then Joe Talbot from Idles in conversation in the Sugar Club should be interesting. of course you can pop along to Whelans to see the original punks the Vapors playing Turning japanese and a whole lot more of their classics on Sunday. Before all that Testament bring their metal to the Stadium, Hayseed Dixie bring their country metal to Whelans and James Taylor Quartet play their Mod pop in the Grand Social.
