This album was written by people who grew up being told that comfort was a birth-right, while watching entire places quietly rot. It’s about the west of Ireland, about names that carry expectations, about hope being encouraged without escape ever being offered.

Songs like Cursed Land aren’t nostalgia or misery — they’re observation. You’re told to believe, to try harder, to stay tame, to take the blame. You do. And somehow, you’re treated just the same. We didn’t make this record to fix anything. We made it because therapy is expensive and punk is loud. Recorded and mixed by the band, pressed and released with help from friends. Available on vinyl because holding something real still matters.

I had to let the bands words speak for themselves as part of the review as words matter. Music matters but for Mart it is the words and the actions that mean so much. Frontman N Kaos is a man on a mission, be that with his band, his gig organising or his radio show. N Kaos’s way of life is spoken through puck rock actions. Mart’s music through these 14 tracks is a menacing fast paced punk with nods to UK82 mixed with UK Decay.
