Uk punks Dealing with damage have returned with an expanded line up for the third record of DC
inspired hardcore. It dabbles a bit more with an expansion into dub but generally its is guitar driven hardcore stories for you to immerse yourself into.
As a former recipient of an annual award from this writer you can guess my anticipation in advance in hearing this. That I was t disappointed is a big statement as I have such high hopes for this band. Like meeting your hero and they are nice I was delighted to read the paper that accompanied this record.
“Why can’t the world be like I feel when I’m listening to Nick Drake” Ed Wenn simply states. And maybe that’s what we need. I like the world when I’m listening to Dealing With Damage. Things shouldn’t be that difficult eh?
14 songs on this record telling a story of life in the UK at the moment and through it all an excitement for a future once we get through the damage done.
