So this is a blog firmly based in punk rock. It doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate music of different genres. It’s just that punk is my thing, whatever punk is. Basement Revolver is not a sound that screams out punk but there is something about their haunting introspective tunes that sucks me in. It may be a nod to the pixies or even Father John Misty but I’m sure glad Sonic Unyon is putting out their new record.
