Notes from a nervous planet

How can we live in a mad world without going mad. Every thing is faster than it used to be.

Our concerny about the future slows us down. So many things to worry about in a world full of pain. We are living twice as long and have tools to do jobs quicker yet we still feel we have no time. Haig reminds us that feeling we have no time doesn’t mean we have no time.

There’s an overload of information, a lot of books – 134milion plus , a lot of data. 40 books a year was published a few centuries ago. We are drowning out on books and tv shows even though we can only read or watch one at a time. Don’t think of those you’re missing out on, focus on those things you can do.

The world is having a panic attack
