Indie rock that really reminds me of more recent Superchunk. 7 songs here from Ohio alternative flag bearers runaway brother. This is a “reboot” of their Bedhead EP whcih was originally released a decade ago.
There’s a vibrancy and urgency still prevalent in the sound. They write songs about their friends, a breezy sound where and world we look out for each other. Things speed up a bit by the fifth track (Lola) as arguments and cracks appear in any group of friends. It all settles down once more and the finish of Happy Happy New year and the line “happy new year, let’s keep a spirit high”. We sure can listening to this
Overall there’s a feel good factor right through here for your Friday
